Rwanda is one of the fastest growing economies in East Africa. The 2nd edition of Power and Energy Africa is a vital representation of the of the energy industry in the country. It will provide an international business platform by enabling global investment opportunities and create a stage to explore the latest technologies in energy products and services.
The country entered a period of high economic growth in 2006, and the following year managed to register 8% economic growth, a record it has sustained ever since. The country's infrastructure has also grown rapidly because of which the region offers investment opportunities in sectors like renewable, conventional and alternate sources of energy, electrical components manufacturing and business engineering services like power generation equipment and power transmission infrastructure, energy saving appliances.
